How We Work
Because Edmik Inc. is your source for manufacturing needs, we are able to give you a timely quote and a quick turnaround on all your projects. We offer face-to-face service direct with your own Edmik customer account manager.
Prototype
Prototypes are developed based upon customer requirements and can be designed for electronic circuits, embedded systems and products. Edmik staff work within affordable budgets while still retaining strict adherence to custom specifications. Durable, reliable quality is ensured once prototypes are advanced to the next stage of production.
What comes next…
Edmik interprets your company’s needs: everything from marketing concept through the manufacture of electrically and mechanically engineered components. We utilize state-of-the-art 3D-solids modeling and in-house model making capabilities for rapid prototyping. Our rigorous development process is managed from concept through mock-ups and prototypes to engineering, and on to production start-up. By fully controlling all aspects of the development process your project cost and time-to-market is drastically reduced. Edmik also provides full documentation.
Short and Long Production
Edmik can provide tooling and worker capacity for long or short run. In fact, a pre-production run could be as few as 10-20 items or as many as 300-500 per year.
Engineering and Design
Once the prototype is completed, the Edmik team remains highly interactive with you. We welcome your feedback – even if the ideas are simple and direct. When you tell us, “Here is what we want to do…”, we know how to proceed. When your comments are more detailed, and a project needs extra tweaking, our engineers’ 30 years experience will help to fabricate the right product. At least two Edmik engineers are available on premises at all times, with more available at a moment’s notice.
Turn-Key Machines
We design or work from client-supplied prints, while verifying that what you want is feasible in the real-world operation of your product. The result is a trusted item that you can feel confident installing. We guarantee our work. All you’ve got to do is turn on the switch.
Electrical Assembly
As an Edmik client, we ask you to present us with a situation involving a product – or just parts. We provide the expertise – and the trained staff – to assemble your electrical assemblies. In fact, we have a certified electrician available and an electrical engineer on staff. For unique projects, we provide vigorous training at our facility.
Solidworks and Autocad files
Edmik welcomes you to send us DXF, DWG, IGS, STP, PDF files and most solid models or paper prints.
